Sanitary sewer pipe cleaning, televising, and inspecting program Approximately 16,500 Lineal Feet of Cleaning, Televising/Recording, and Inspecting Sanitary Pipes; Pipe sizes <= 12-inch dia. o Approximately 5,000 Lineal Feet of Cleaning, Televising/Recording, and Inspecting Sanitary Pipes; Pipe size 15-inch dia. o Approximately 14,000 Lineal Feet of Cleaning, Televising/Recording, and Inspecting Sanitary Pipes; Pipe size varies from 24-inch dia. to 27-inch dia. o Approximately 28,000 Lineal Feet of Cleaning, Televising/Recording, and Inspecting Sanitary Pipes; Pipe size varies from 30-inch dia. to 36-inch dia. o Approximately 22,000 Lineal Feet of Cleaning, Televising/Recording, and Inspecting Sanitary Pipes; Pipe size varies from 42-inch dia. to 60-inch dia. o Approximately 100 Lineal Feet of Cleaning, Televising/Recording, and Inspecting Sanitary Pipes; Pipe size 84-inch dia. o Approximately 4,500 Lineal Feet of Heavy Cleaning Sanitary Pipes; Pipe size varies from <= 12-inch dia. to 84-inch dia. o Inspect all pipes per the Pipe Assessment Certification Program (PACP); o Provide the City with a database of the inspection reports and video of the pipe; o All related items Prospective bidders shall add their names to the Plan Holder List by calling the Engineer's office at 734-285-7510. It is important to have your name added in case an Addendum is issued on this project. Each proposal shall be submitted on the proposal forms provided and shall be accompanied by a certified check, Cashier's check, Money Order, or Bid Bond, executed by the Bidder and Surety Company, and drawn payable to the City of Trenton in the amount of Five Percent (5%) of the accompanying bid, as security for the proper execution of the Contract. Surety Company shall be licensed to conduct business in the State of Michigan. The successful Bidder shall be required to furnish separate Performance and Payment Bonds, each in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract amount. No bid shall be withdrawn for ninety (90) days following the date set for receipt, during which time all bids shall remain in full force and effect. Proposals submitted after the exact time specified for receipt shall not be considered. Proposals submitted via telephone, facsimile, or electronic mail shall not be accepted. The OWNER (City of Trenton) reserves the right to reject any and all bids in its sole discretion, in whole or in part, for any reason or no reason at all, to waive any informality in any bids, and to award the contract to any Bidder, when such waiver is deemed in the interest of the OWNER. A contract shall be awarded to the lowest responsible and responsive Bidder as determined by the OWNER. Should the successful Bidder fail to enter into a Contract with the OWNER and furnish the required bonds and insurance documents within fifteen (15) days following the award of the Contract, through no fault of the OWNER, he shall forfeit the entire amount of his/her bid security to the OWNER.
