University of California seeks proposals from eligible Suppliers for a solution to eliminate point of sale checkout. By leveraging a combination of computer vision, sensor fusion, and deep learning algorithms, the solution technology shall provide a frictionless, contactless, and checkout-free customer experience. The award shall include products and services to include, but not limited to: design, purchase, hosting, installation, operation, maintenance, marketing, hardware/software, as well as the complete balance of line of parts and pieces. This work will also include marketing, signage, assisting in identifying ideal site locations. The awarded Supplier is required to provide detailed options for when work performed for Participating Public Agencies expires (e.g. charging unit removal, transfer of ownership, contract renewal options, etc.).
