The School district is soliciting sealed proposals for the removal of 4-inches (+/-) of bituminous
asphalt pavement, prep and place new pavement at the Middle School (approx. 44,000 SF). The
district is also looking to remove, prep and pave the High School lot at the southerly alley
(approx. 16,000 SF) and the east lot (approx. 35,000 SF). The east lot at the High School will be a
bid alternate. GENERAL SPECIFICATIONS:
1. Middle School - The southerly parking lot requires complete removal of the existing asphalt, aggregate base
repair and furnished with 4-inches of HMA (in two, 2-inch lifts) including pavement striping.
2. High School - The southerly alley area requires complete removal of the existing asphalt, aggregate base repair
and furnished with 4-inches of HMA (in two, 2-inch lifts) including pavement striping.
3. High School Alternate - The easterly parking lot requires complete removal of the existing asphalt, aggregate base
repair and furnished with 4-inches of HMA (in two, 2-inch lifts) including pavement striping. This project SHALL be completed no later than August 23, 2024. A Bid-bond will be required in the form of 5% of the project amount from each bidder. A Performance and Payment bond on 100% of the bid will be required by the successful bidder.
