Commercial Interior Design, Space Planning & Consultation Services at PGW's Various Sites. Interior Design & Space Planning
Provide programming, feasibility requirements, and architectural services for various PGW projects. Client to provide project details and requirements as needed.
Provide facility programming and feasibility studies including 2-D and 3-D visualizations with detailed interior fit-out, furniture specifications, drawings, budgets/costs, and implementation consultation.
Review and discuss with the Client proposed projects, workflows, equipment use, workspaces, and adjacencies within the proposed location (department and/or building).
Review and discuss office and workspace standards to be implemented.
Review and discuss the facility programming and feasibility plan and provide 2D and/or 3D designs (preliminary, draft, revised, and final).
Provide follow-up meetings and revisions to preliminary and draft designs.
Indicate furniture and equipment for preparation of layouts for use in preparing power and communication diagrams and/or floor plan drawings.
Review and discuss the Client's goals and expectations for functional, aesthetic direction of any proposed project. Provide color schemes; as well as, all architectural finishes for floor, wall, ceiling, millwork, and hardware components. Provide color schemes and samples for flooring materials and ceiling materials that are represented in drawings and proposed plans. Provide samples and swatches of any/all materials, fabrics, and/or colors to be utilized in a proposed project.
Provide a plan/concept that addresses noise/sound, privacy concerns, and electrical and HVAC requirements that apply to any proposed design changes or considerations. Design Development
Field verify critical dimensions against existing "as-built" plans.
Prepare presentation materials as necessary to adequately convey the proposed design concept to the Client.
Coordinate with the Client on technology and equipment requirements. Receive and confirm Client generated technical criteria consisting of all specification information, critical dimensions, power and environmental requirements for furniture, fixtures and equipment. Move Managemen
Develop a move management plan and schedule based on Client's needs.
Prepare RFP documents for moving, demolition, fit out, and/or installation services.
Provide concepts that best optimize the project's space and square footage.
Develop 2D/3D drawings for proposed move/s as well as provide the current floor plan.
Utilize the room numbering, cubicle numbering, and building numbering system as indicated by PGW. Provide recommendations where gaps are identified.
Architectural & Construction Documents
As relevant to the services provided, provide millwork specifications, demolition plans, partition plans, door/s and hardware schedule, flooring power and communication plans, and finishes plans.
Prepare Construction Documents to be issued in final form in PDF and AutoCAD formats for the Client's use. These documents shall be used for the procurement process to obtain contractor pricing, building permits, and achieve final build out. These documents shall include, but are not limited to: Cover sheet, specifications, standards and schedules, demolition plans, architectural partition plans. Consulting and Project Management
Prepare project schedules and build out budgets relevant to the services provided for proposed projects.
Provide consultation and recommendations during construction kick-off meetings with the Client.
Provide expertise related to commercial building codes, American with Disabilities Act (ADA), heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC), and fire protection systems codes.
Provide expertise regarding state and local permits and applications.
Provide on-site supervision during moves - if requested.
Provide signage and corporate wayfinding recommendations regarding directional signage, accessibility signage, and decorative signage. Not included
Implementation services; including mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) engineering, construction administration, and client contract management are not part of this[AH1] project, Presentations
Proposers shall provide a link to electronic portfolios, presentations, and/or brochures of at least three successful similar scope and scale projects.
Please note that the successful proposer may not submit a proposal for the RFP for moving, demolition, fit out, and/or installation services. Question Deadline 07/15/2024 at 11:00 AM ET. Questions concerning this Request for Proposals shall be directed in writing to PGW via electronically. Proposers may not contact PGW personnel regarding this RFP other than through electronically. These dates are estimates only and PGW reserves the right to alter this schedule as it deems necessary or appropriate. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
