Responses to questions received prior to the deadline will be posted and answered on online. Pricing Lump sum Upon completion of Step 2, final approval of the award will be requested from the City Council. Purchasing Services will facilitate the execution of the required Service Agreement for this requirement, including the required certificate of insurance. Should the City be unable to execute an agreement with the lowest price bidder, the process will commence with the next lowest price bidder. This process will continue until a satisfactory contract is awarded by the City, or until the City exercises its right to reject all bid proposals received under this IFB The contract will be for a period of one (1) year with the option to renew for four (4) additional one-year terms under the same terms and conditions. The total award period shall not exceed sixty (60) months. The provisions of the foregoing sentences with respect to extension of the term of the contract shall be null and void if the contract has been terminated or revoked during the initial term or extension thereof. All decisions to extend the contract are at the option of the City and subject to annual appropriation of funds. The successful Contractor, without additional expense to the City, shall be responsible for obtaining any necessary licenses and for complying with any applicable federal, state, and municipal laws, codes, and regulations in connection with the execution of the services. The successful Contractor and any subcontractors, if applicable, will be required to obtain an Aurora Business License. The successful Contractor shall provide the Aurora Business License number(s) within the first thirty (30) days of the contract award. Interested Contractors shall submit their Statement of Qualifications addressing only those items cited in Section II. Contractor responses to the Statement of Qualifications will be evaluated in accordance with Section III. The City at its sole discretion may conduct interviews, site visits, and/or request additional information to assist them with their evaluation to determine if a Contractors Statement of Qualifications meets the City's requirements. Failure to provide any requested additional information may result in the Contractors response to be deemed non-responsive and removed from consideration for award. Only those Contractors deemed pre-qualified after evaluations will be considered for Step 2 of the process. The City will be the sole judge of proposed Contractors qualifications and all decisions are final. The City of Aurora reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive any informality in the bids received, and to accept the bid deemed most advantageous to the best interest of the City.
