1) The Georgetown County Public Works Division, under the Public Services Department, is soliciting sealed offers to procure Road Materials - FLBC & MLBC under an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) agreement. Material under this agreement will be MLBC and FLBC to be used to maintenance and/or resurface various roadways. This will be a term agreement for a one (1) year base period, with an auto renewal on the anniversary date of up to four (4) additional one-year renewal terms based upon satisfactory vendor performance for a total possible maximum of five (5) years. 2) Georgetown County estimates it normally purchases 1,000 tons of Road Materials - FLBC & MLBC over any 12-month period. The Road Materials - FLBC & MLBC shall meet the requirements of the aggregate gradation specifications as listed in the table below. Georgetown County will place purchase orders under this agreement when material is needed. As always, bid openings will be accompanied by at least one witness and bid tabulation results will be posted online for the public's viewing after the bid opening. Award of Bid In determining the lowest responsive and responsible bidder, in addition to price, there shall be considered the following: (a) The ability, capacity and skill of the bidder to perform the contract. (b) Whether the bidder can perform the contract within the time specified, without delay of interference. (c) The character, integrity, reputation, judgment, experience and efficiency of the bidder. (d) The quality of performance on previous contracts. (e) The previous and existing compliance by the bidder with laws and ordinances relating to the contract. (f) The sufficiency of the financial resources to perform the contract to provide the service. (g) The quality, availability and adaptability of the supplies or contractual services to the particular use required. (h) The ability of the bidder to provide future maintenance and service. (i) The discount terms and conditions of the bid. (j) Delivery time.
