Proposals shall be for two Options; however it is anticipated that only one option will be awarded. Option 1 is for a 100'x40', 30' interior clear height for the storage of 1,800 tons of salt. Each bid proposal shall be accompanied by a certified check or satisfactory bid bond by an approved surety company in an amount not less than 5% of the bid amount. Checks shall be made payable to the Owner. Bids may not be withdrawn for a period of ninty (90) calendar days after receipt of bids. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a performance bond, maintenance and guarantee bond, labor and material bond, and insurance certificates. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive irregularities in proposal, or to accept the lowest responsible proposal or negotiate with respondents, in the opinion of the Owner, will serve his best interest.
