Site work for a water / sewer project in Ainsworth, Iowa. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The project includes the construction of approximately 4,300 linear feet of 6-inch water main and 69 water service connections on Lincoln, Washington, Railroad, and Tam Streets in the City of Ainsworth, Iowa Est. Value: $ 923,000.00 Est. Completion Date: May 30, 2025 The work under the proposed Contract shall commence upon issuance of the written Notice to Proceed. Substantial completion of the proposed improvements on Tam, Lincoln, and Washington Streets shall be on or before May 30, 2025, and the proposed improvements shall be fully completed on or before August 29, 2025. The Bidder agrees to pay as liquidated damages the sum of $500 for each consecutive calendar day after the specified completion dates that the project is not fully completed. Bidders are advised that all wages are subject to the minimum wages as set forth in a Federal Wage Determination for this project. Bidders are also advised work under this Contract will be required to comply with Labor Standards Contract Provisions. Each bidder shall accompany its bid with bid security as defined in Section 26.8 of the Code of Iowa. Bid security shall be 10% of the bid amount.
