The project consists of: installing new gravity sewers, new sewer service connections, replacement of water main and service connections, temporary and permanent paving including all labor, material and equipment necessary to complete the Work. A. Furnish all labor, materials, equipment and incidentals necessary to construct gravity sewer mains and water mains, as shown on the drawings and specified herein. B. The Work includes, but is not necessarily limited to, the following major items: 1. Construct new gravity sewers and sewer services in Turner Ridge Road. 2. Construct new gravity sewer in cross country easement between Turner Ridge Road and Minehan Lane. 3. Construct new water mains, water services, hydrants and appurtenances in Turner Ridge Road; provide temporary water service connections to all affected houses during water main construction. Remove and dispose of existing 8" asbestos cement (AC) water main in accordance with State and Federal laws. Question Deadline 07/23/2024 Bidders requiring clarification or interpretation of the Contract Documents shall make a written request to the City Engineer. The City Engineer will answer such requests if received no later than five (5) business days, excluding Saturdays, Sundays, or holidays, before the date for receipt of the bids.
