Woodroam Well System Improvements Various improvements to the Woodroam Community Well System. The improvements include eliminating the onsite hydropneumatic tank and installing a vertical turbine pump skid with variable frequency drives and a bladder tank. Other improvements include Chemical feed pumps for soda ash and orthophosphate, piping modifications, and temporary piping and facilities to ensure minimal water service outages during construction. Work Location:405 R&L Smith Road, Danville, VA 24540 Pittsylvania County Public Works is requesting Bids for various improvements to the Woodroam Community Well System. Question Deadline 08/06/2024 All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted to Engineer in writing. Interpretations or clarifications considered necessary by Engineer in response to such questions will be issued by Addenda delivered to all parties recorded as having received the Bidding Documents. Questions received less than seven days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered.
