All communications regarding this solicitation must be with the assigned Procurement Agent, Edward McAdoo III, purchasing@sandyspringsga.gov. 1 Galambos Way Sandy Springs, Georgia 30328 Scope of Work: The project includes the repair of a 132-foot culvert by centrifugally cast lining the pipe while also replacing two catch basins, 39 linear feet of pipe, and a concrete headwall located at 4787 Riverview Road in Sandy Springs, Georgia. The project also includes installing 27 square yards of 10" black integral colored concrete, rip rap energy dissipation at the outfall of the headwall, and dewatering by means of bypass pumping through the existing culvert. All work shall be coordinated with the National Park Service and the City of Sandy Springs as well as with Atlanta Gas Light prior to conducting work. The project area is partially within the Chattahoochee River National Recreation Area (National Park Service) and will require the contractor to apply for a Special Use Permit ($220 fee). The contractor will also have to pull a Public Works Roadway Streetscape Improvements Permit and a Right of Way Utility Permit.
