SEWAGE FORCE MAIN ALONG SW 84th STREET FROM SW 109th AVENUE SBE-Service: 1.00% NIGP Codes: Landscaping (98852) and Sodding (79050) ESTIMATED COST: $2,012,099.00 LICENSE REQUIREMENT: General Building Contractor, General Engineering, Pipelines Engineering Contractor, Pipelines, Underground Utility/Excavation SCOPE OF WORK: The Project, including mobilization and demobilization, consists of furnishing and installing approximately 3,650 linear feet of 10-inch ductile iron pipe and fittings for sewage force main; four (4) plug valves; making five (5) cut-in connections to existing sewage force mains; furnishing and constructing automatic air release valve assemblies for sewage force mains; furnishing and constructing manual air release valve assemblies for sewage force mains; removal and replacement of existing emergency pump-out connection; polyethylene encasement for ductile iron pipe and fittings, if ordered by the Engineer; sheeting and shoring ordered left in place by the Engineer; additional suitable backfill, if needed; furnish all labor, materials, equipment, and incidentals required for cleaning and testing the sewage force mains; sewage bypass operations with tankering, if required; obtaining the services of a State of Florida licensed asbestos contractor; cutting, dewatering, grouting, plugging, and capping existing main(s) that are to be placed out of service; removal, salvage, cleaning, transport, unloading and storage of valve boxes and covers, manhole frames and covers, and castings, on existing mains that are to be placed out of service; removal of existing asphalt pavement, sidewalk and sod; removal, transport, salvage, and legal disposal of demolition material; traffic control; temporary and permanent replacement of any pavement, driveways, sidewalk, concrete median, curb and gutter, sod, landscaping and pavement markings damaged by the construction of the Project and all other appurtenant and miscellaneous items and work necessary for a complete, fully functional, and satisfactory installation.
