Performance bonds : Construction projects over $25,000, successful bidder will be required to post a performance bond, after the award is made by the board of directors, equal to the value of the work to be done. Project Estimate is $275,000.00 – $300,000.00 Payment bonds: Construction projects between $25,000 to $1,000,000 Successful bidders must be post a payment bond after award by the board of directors, guaranteeing payment to subcontractors that will perform work valued at 50% or more of the total project cost. Construction projects between $1,000,000 to $5,000,000 Successful bidders must be post a payment bond after award by the board of directors, guaranteeing payment to subcontractors that will perform work valued at 40% or more of the total project cost. Construction projects over $5,000,000 Successful bidders must be post a payment bond after award by the board of directors, guaranteeing payment to subcontractors that will perform work valued at 40% or more of the total project cost, or $2,500,000 whichever is less.
