Site work and new construction of a mixed-use development in Columbus, Georgia. Completed plans call for the construction of a conference / convention center; for site work for a conference / convention center; parking garage; and parking garage.
Columbus Convention and Trade Center Parking Garage. If, due to an error or omission in the scope of work, a particular requirement is not specifically included but is necessary to provide the City with required services, then said requirement is considered to be included in the scope of work just as if it had been listed in detail herein. Provide surety, in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of your total cost proposal. The 5% surety shall be in the form of a bid bond issued by a surety company, a Cashier's Check, a Certified Check or a Money Order, in favor of Columbus Consolidated Government. The successful Contractor shall, without any additional cost to Columbus Consolidated Government, furnish Performance and Payment Bonds, both in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the total contract amount, within ten (10) calendar days after approval of the Guaranteed Maximum Price. Columbus Consolidated Government (the City) is requesting proposals from qualified contractors to engage a Design-Builder to design and construct an approximately 500 space parking garage for the Columbus Convention and Trade Center. The selected Design-Builder will be responsible for all design and construction services related to the delivery of the new parking garage Due to the evaluation process, proposals must remain in effect for at least 180 days after date of receipt. The City reserves the right to award this project or to reject any and all proposals; whichever is in the best interest of the City. Question Deadline 08/09/2024 Questions and Requests for Clarification will be received until five business days prior to the proposal due date.
