Site work and paving for a sidewalk / parking lot in Oakville, Ontario. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
The provision of construction services to replace the parking lot at Maple Grove Arena, located at 2237 Devon Road, Oakville, ON L6J 5Z8. This parking lot replacement project includes milling existing asphalt to 50mm depth and paving new 50mm compacted depth HL3 asphalt ("shave & pave") in most areas of the parking lot. Some areas of the lot with more extensive damage will be paved using full depth asphalt and granular reinstatement. Accessible parking will be adjusted and expanded to meet Oakville Universal Design Standards. The parking lot will be slightly reconfigured from the existing layout to accommodate additional parking spaces. Bidders are advised that a partial roof replacement project will be initiated shortly at Maple Grove Area, however, it is expected to be completed prior to the Parking Lot project commencing. We do not anticipate the roofing project to impede upon the parking lot replacement project. The town will work with both contractors to coordinate as required to ensure both projects are completed within their commencement and completion dates, i.e., parking lot must be completed by no later than September 13, 2024, one week prior to the hockey season start date.
