Demolition of Improvements and Abatement of Nuisance and Health Hazards City of Lincoln Center, Lincoln, Kansas, will receive sealed bids for the referenced project as described below: The proposed project will consist of demolition of the improvements and abatement of nuisance and health hazards at the address of 306 Park St., Lincoln Center, Kansas. The contractor and their subcontractors on this project will be required to comply with all federal, state and local laws and ordinances applicable to the work paid for in part or in whole with CDBG funds; to include but not limited to the Section 109 of the 1984 Housing and Community Development Act; Civil Rights Act of 1964; Executive order 11246; Copeland "Anti-Kickback" Act; and the Contractor work Hours and Safety Standards Act and Fair Labor Standard Act. The contract time will be set in accordance with the bids received and agreement. A successful bidder must provide performance and statutory bonds and provide builders' risk and public liability insurance with limits of $1,000,000 or more and Work Comp Insurance. The City will also need a non-discrimination clause from the successful bidder. The City of Lincoln Center reserves the right to reject any and all Bids and to waive irregularities in bidding. Specifications: Raze, remove, and dispose of the existing structures and improvements at 306 E. Park, Lincoln, Kansas, and dispose of all debris; Backfill cavities created by removing existing structures, using granular material or loose friable soil from the project; use material that is free of excess moisture, roots, sod, and rock greater than four inches in diameter; Remove, clean and store any materials designated for salvage; and Remove and dispose of all scrap metal, trash, and waste materials.
