Installation contractors must be licensed to perform work in Oregon and provide the Ontario School District with OCCB license #, proof of insurance, and proof of Workman's Comp insurance. Contractors, employees of contractor, and sub-contractors must complete and pass background checks to work on-site. Installation will most likely be occurring after students have returned from summer break. Safety barrier will have to be installed by contractor to keep students a safe distance away from the work site. Care will also be required by the use of multiple spotters when bringing equipment or materials in and out of the job site when students are on campus. Questions or clarifications may be submitted in writing up until July 17th, 2024 at 4:00 p.m. Responses and addendum will be sent to all parties on the original mailing list and any other companies that we know are interested in the project by 4:00 p.m. July 19, 2024. Interested parties should confirm interest by emailing Bob Bennett at the following email address: bbennett@ontario.k12.or.us. Project must be completed by September 30, 2024 without exception. Funding for this project is dependent on this completion date. Completion of project includes delivery, set up, and invoicing prior to September 30, 2024. Budget for this project can not exceed $40,000 dollars. Proposals in excess of $40,000.00 dollars may be refused. Alternate 1 could be a coverings either permanent year round and/or seasonal for weather protection and sun blockage. You may provide information along with cost for one or both options. You are free to include lists of other alternate options as well. Alternates or add ons must be clearly identified as such and provide clarity to additional costs and concerns for the district to consider. Companies and individuals should not consider any verbal conversation or interpretation to be binding to the project. Any binding questions, interpretations, or decisions must be in writing by the Facilities Manager for the Ontario School District.
