The Town of Brownsburg, Indiana will receive Quotes for the 2024-1 Town of Brownsburg Community Crossing Project Fog Seal Preventive Maintenance in accordance with the Contract Documents, Construction Schedule and Specifications. The Brownsburg Town Hall is open between 7:30 AM and 4:30 PM. Each bid shall be accompanied by an acceptable Quoter's bond, in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the total amount of the bid, payable to the Town of Brownsburg, Indiana. The Contractor and all subcontractors will be required to comply with required Federal and State labor regulations. The Town of Brownsburg, Indiana, reserves the right to reject any and all proposals or parts there-of and to waive all responsibility for irregularities in Quotes. Each Proposal shall be accompanied by either a cashier's check, a certified check drawn on an acceptable bank, or an acceptable Quote bond, in an amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the total amount of the Quote, made payable without conditions to the "Town of Brownsburg, Indiana", hereinafter referred to as the Owner, Performance, Maintenance and Payment Bond. A contract bond to the Owner, in an amount equal to 100 percent (100%) of the contract price. All questions are to be submitted in writing at least 2 business days prior to the Quote opening. All questions shall be emailed to sstrange@firstgroupengineering.com or faxed to 317-290-9560. The CONTRACTOR agrees that the Work shall be commenced no later than the date indicated in the Notice to Proceed and that the Work shall be prosecuted regularly, diligently and uninterruptedly at such a rate of progress as will ensure completion of all Work on or before November 15th, 2024 ("Contract Completion Date") and all cleanup and ancillary work shall be completed by November 30th, 2024. Damages for not meeting this deadline shall be per INDOT Specification 108. Requests for time extension shall be submitted to the TOWN at least one week prior to the substantial completion date and shall document all weather events such as rain or cold that preclude work activity above and beyond what is allowed in INDOT Spec 108. Non-compliance with these requirements may subject the CONTRACTOR to liquidated damages per INDOT 2024 Standard Specifications. Bidders will assume the Notice to Proceed issued by the TOWN shall be on or before August 10th, 2024 or the Contract Completion Date may be changed by the TOWN in accordance with the number of days the Notice to Proceed was delayed.
