The Town of Brownsburg, Indiana will receive Quotes for the 2024-1 Town of Brownsburg Community Crossing Project Crack Seal and Microsurface Preventive Maintenance in accordance with the Contract Documents, Construction Schedule and Specifications. The Town of Brownsburg, Indiana, reserves the right to reject any and all quotes or parts there-of and to waive all responsibility for irregularities in Quotes. Each Quote shall be accompanied by either a cashier's check, a certified check drawn on an acceptable bank, or an acceptable bid bond, in an amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the total amount of the bid, made payable without conditions to the "Town of Brownsburg, Indiana", hereinafter referred to as the Owner, and the amount of the said Quote Guarantee may be retained by and forfeited to the Owner as liquidated damages if the Quote covered thereby is accepted and a contract based thereon is awarded and the Quoter should fail to enter into a Contract in the form prescribed, with legally responsible sureties, within fifteen (15) days after such award is made by the Owner. Non-compliance with these requirements may subject the CONTRACTOR to liquidated damages per INDOT 2024 Standard Specifications. Bidders will assume the Notice to Proceed issued by the TOWN shall be on or before August 10th, 2024 or the Contract Completion Date may be changed by the TOWN in accordance with the number of days the Notice to Proceed was delayed.
