The City reserves the right to assign or otherwise transfer all or any part of its interests under this Contract without your consent or approval. Except for the three types specified below, you must obtain all permits wherever the Work under this Contract requires them, including from the City of Chicago or other public authorities. You must furnish triplicate copies of the permits to the City before the Work covered by them is started. NO WORK IS ALLOWED TO PROCEED BEFORE SUCH PERMITS ARE OBTAINED. In the performance of the Work, you are fully responsible for paying not less than the prevailing rate of wages as determined by the Illinois Department of Labor, which must be paid to all laborers, mechanics, and other workers performing Work under this Contract.
