Renovation of a fire / police facility in Holly Springs, North Carolina. Completed plans call for the renovation of a fire / police facility.
Project Description: Desired System Size: The solar system shall be comprised of an array of photovoltaic panels and electrical equipment components sized to maximize cost savings over the life of the system. Preliminary analysis estimates 25.2 kW/DC. Desired Solar System: Non-penetrating roof mounted system System Ownership Information: The Town of Holly Springs will own the system Operation & Maintenance: The selected company will provide O&M services for 20 years following installation of the project. This includes panel washing 1 -2 times per year. O&M costs should be listed as an optional alternate line item in a proposal to be provided after qualification review and vendor selection. This will be discussed during contract negotiations. Monitoring: Software to monitor the system should be included as separate, alternate line item in proposal to be provided after vendor selection. Software should be SolarEdge or approved equal product. Details and costs for software licenses and subscription services should be included. A display kiosk providing project information is not required. The system will allow the Town and other software partners including Enpira (utility data management software) to track progress toward the renewable production for any and all the future systems for the Town as well as monitor performance against the warranted production requirements on a site-by-site basis. The awarded Contractor will be required to complete all due diligence and installation requirements necessary to maintain any existing roof warranty at the time of installation. July 19, 2024 by 4:00 p.m. Deadline for respondents to submit written questions. July 25, 2024 by 4:00 p.m. Deadline for Towns answers to question submissions.
