Pressure Washing Services at Various County Facilities Performance Period One Hundred Twenty (120) Calendar Days after notice to proceed Bid Guarantees are required pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40A:11-21. Bidder shall submit with the bid a certified check, cashier's check or bid bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the total bid price not to exceed $20,000, payable unconditionally to the COUNTY OF ESSEX. Bidder shall simultaneously with the delivery of the executed contract, submit an executed performance, and labor and material payment bond in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the amount bid as security for the faithful performance of this contract and for the required labor and materials of this contract. Unless otherwise directed in writing by the County, failure to submit this with the executed contract shall be cause for declaring the contract null and void. Upon acceptance of the work by the County, the contractor shall submit a maintenance bond (N.J.S.A. 40A:11-16.3) in an amount not to exceed 100% of the project costs guaranteeing against defective quality of work or materials for the period of 1 year.
