Annual Requirements Contract for Pavement Marking Modification, Installation and Maintenance. SCOPE OF WORK The work consists of supplementing and assisting in the maintenance work currently being performed by Clark County Public Works (CCPW). The work to be performed under this Contract consists of the maintenance of the transverse and longitudinal pavement markings on non-freeway roadways within the Las Vegas valley within the jurisdiction of Clark County, Work includes the installation, removal and replacement of these pavement markings and related work on an assigned basis using specified materials. After award, the designated contact will be Jimmy Benoit, Manager Traffic Management, Public Works, telephone number (702) 455-6054. COUNTY'S ESTIMATED USAGE: Not to exceed $2,500,000 annually. INITIAL TERM The initial term of CONTRACT shall be from date of award through September 30, 2025. CONTRACT EXTENSION COUNTY reserves the option to temporarily extend CONTRACT for up to ninety (90) calendar days from its expiration date for any reason. The current CONTRACT pricing shall remain in effect through the CONTRACT extension period. METHOD OF AWARD Award will be made to the lowest responsive and responsible Bidder on a grand total basis, contingent upon the submission of all requested documents within the timelines specified, unless an extension is approved by COUNTY. Bidders must bid on all items to be considered responsive. LIQUIDATED DAMAGES - INSURANCE / PERFORMANCE BOND SUBMITTAL If SUCCESSFUL BIDDER does not provide the insurance or performance bond submittals on or before the 10th business day, SUCCESSFUL BIDDER will pay over to COUNTY the amount of $200 per calendar day as liquidated damages. If SUCCESSFUL BIDDER does not keep the insurance policy or performance bond in effect or allows them to lapse, SUCCESSFUL BIDDER will pay over to COUNTY the amount of $100 per business day as liquidated damages.
