1.01 SCOPE OF WORK: Provide all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to install an outdoor motorized ADA compliant wheelchair vertical platform lift at building 38. For bid purposes, please provide a breakdown of price for wheelchair VPL. This is lowest-price/ best price, technically acceptable solicitation. The work for the platform includes, but is not limited to the following: A. Provide and install a 3153B Bruno vertical platform lift. B. Provide and install a 36"x 54" VPL platform with all necessary supporting equipment. C. Provide and install 36" landing gate and landing call send. D. VPL shall have a back-up battery system and shall be powered with a 120v receptacle. E. Provide and install commercial modular ramp 4'x 48"x 42" guard rails. F. Contractor will provide all tools and consumables. 1.02 LOCATION: Project site is located at Building 38, US Coast Guard Base Los Angeles Long Beach, 1001 South Seaside Avenue, San Pedro, CA 90731. Contracting Officer (KO) for this project is Anthony Aviles. Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) for this project is Ruijin Garcia. 1.03 SITE INVESTIGATION: Investigate the site per FAR 52.236-3 to ascertain the general and local conditions, which can affect the work or its cost. During the solicitation process the Contracting officer will post a one-time date and time for all potential bidders to walk the site, take measurement and photos. Vendors must be registered at System for Award Management (SAM.gov) prior to be awarded a government Purchase Order.
