This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, following FAR 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. An award, if any, will be made to the responsible offeror who submits a quote that (1) conforms to the requirements of the synopsis/solicitation; (2) that receives a rating of "Acceptable" on the Technical Capability evaluation factor; and (3) that submits the quote with the lowest total evaluated price (TEP), provided that the TEP is not unbalanced and is determined to be fair and reasonable. The Government reserves the right to award without discussions or to make no award at all depending upon (1) the quality of quotes received and (2) whether proposed prices are determined to be fair and reasonable. QUESTIONS DUE DATE. Questions are due on Monday, 15 July 2024 at 10:00AM PDT. 1. OVERVIEW 99th Civil Engineering Squadron (CES) needs to have a functioning concrete conveyor belt to execute major repairs on Runway 21L on the airfield of Nellis Air Force Base (AFB). The belt is required to efficiently transport concrete from the mixing truck to the pouring site, especially when direct access is challenging or impossible. It will also minimize the need for manual handling, reducing the risk of injuries on the job site. The Contractor shall provide a fully functioning conveyor belt with an operator that meets the specifications below. 2. SCOPE The Contractor shall provide the equipment/operator listed below for 4 days to assist on runway repairs on Nellis AFB. The Contractor shall provide all required connections, and all other related accessories. The Contractor shall provide delivery, pick up and exterior cleaning of the rentals. Conveyor Belt o 5 Section Telescopic Boom o Reach up to 120 inches Horizontally o Must have Outriggers o Operator Needed 3. LOCATION The equipment rentals will be delivered to the pavement shop located at Nellis AFB. Nellis is approximately nine (9) miles north of downtown Las Vegas on Highway U.S-93 (Las Vegas Blvd). NAFB consists of three (3) main areas: the Main Base, Area II, and Area III. The location of the pavement shop is on Main Base at building 808, 6097 Depot Road, NAFB, 89191.
