In view of the large number of visitors to the Grande Bibliothèque, BAnQ believes that the use of vertical transport devices for the public can only be intensive. The Grande Bibliothèque's fleet of vertical transportation equipment consists of : - Three (3) passenger traction elevators; - Two (2) traction service elevators; - Two (2) hydraulic passenger elevators; - One (1) escalator. The successful contractor is hereby required to furnish and pay for all labor, transportation, equipment, tools, materials and spare parts, as well as all other expenses inherent in performing the maintenance work on the vertical transportation equipment as defined in this document and in the "Inspection and Maintenance Specifications for Vertical Transportation Equipment" attached as a PDF file to the tender documentation. The contractor will be required to physically inspect the equipment to be inspected and maintained, and the premises where it is located, in accordance with point 1.02 ("Site visit") of the "Régie" document. By submitting a bid, the contractor acknowledges that he is aware of the current state of maintenance and accepts the equipment in its present condition.
