The City of Driggs is soliciting Statements of Qualifications from firms qualified to prepare construction drawings, specifications, provide bidding stage support and construction engineering and inspection services for the Teton Creek Restoration and Flood Hazard Mitigation project to restore 1.5 miles of creek channel and reduce flooding risk. Tasks include topographic survey, construction drawings, specifications and bid documents, permitting assistance, construction engineering and inspection, and project documentation required by the funding agency (FEMA). The ideal consultant will be experienced in fluvial geomorphology, stream and ecological restoration project design and oversight. The project is subject to certain federal funding rules, requiring any awarded contract to contain the applicable provisions described online. Furthermore, the City of Driggs hereby notifies all interested firms that it will affirmatively ensure that in any contract entered into pursuant to this solicitation, minority and women-owned business enterprises will be afforded full opportunity to respond and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, sex or national origin in consideration for an award.
