Site work and paving for a civil project in Platte City, Missouri. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; for paving for a bridge / tunnel; road / highway; and road / highway.
The proposed work includes the construction of an 86 foot, single-span, steel I-girder bridge with steel H-Piling, concrete abutments, concrete barriers, steel guardrail, handrail, mechanically stabilized fill, asphalt, traffic control, and other required appurtenances. All bidders must be on MoDOTs Qualified Contractor List per Section 102.2 of the Missouri Standard Specifications for Highway Construction 2024, 4th Edition - April 2025 including all revisions. The contractor questionnaire must be on file 7 days prior to bid opening. No bidder may withdraw his bid within 90 days after the actual date of the opening thereof. The right is reserved to reject any or all bids. A certified or cashiers check or a bid bond in the amount of 10% shall be submitted with each proposal. The DBE goal for this project is 5%. No 2nd tier subcontracting will be allowed on this project. The Contract, if awarded, will be awarded to the lowest responsive, responsible bidder who provides the lowest price complying with the Conditions of the Contract Documents within the Owners budget.
