Theater Building Mechanical Systems Improvements, University of Hawaii at Hilo Questions Deadline: 07/25/2024 Answers Due Date: 08/08/2024 Award of Contract – Anticipated award by October 2024. The project Duration: 365 Consecutive Calendar Days from NTP. July 25, 2024 – Deadline to submit all requests for substitutions/clarifications regarding the RFQ requirements HePS All clarification requests shall be submitted via Electronically. This project is a replacement of existing central chilled water plant equipment. The scope of work includes SELECTIVE DEMOLITION, removal of chilled water plant equipment including air cooled chillers, chilled water pumps, dry cooler and associated piping, pipe insulation, chemical pot feeders, instrumentation and controls, electrical and miscellaneous related work. Additionally, the replacement of an existing dehumidifier in the Costume Storage room ceiling including piping, ductwork, gypsum board ceiling removal and replacement, painting, electrical and miscellaneous related work. In accordance with Section 103D-323, Hawaii Revised Statutes, this proposal is accompanied with a bid security in the amount of 5% of the total amount proposed. The Bidder shall use the attached Surety Bid Bond form. If the Bidder elects to use other acceptable forms of security listed in Section 2.8 of the General Provisions, the Bidder shall deposit the bid security with the Facilities Business Office prior to the bid due date.
