Renovation of a mixed-use development in Cody, Wyoming. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility; and water / sewer project.

A. Work of the Project includes removing and replacing 36 butterfly valves 18 - 12 electrically actuated butterfly valves, 9 - 18 electrically actuated butterfly valves, and 9- 24 electrically actuated butterfly valves, in the filter gallery at the water plant as well as doing pipe coating repairs, via epoxy putty or sand blast and install Pota-Pox, on an as-needed basis. Work will include coordinating with OWNER's staff and the ENGINEER to minimize impacts on the treatment process. Removing and replacing existing valves, reconnecting all actuators and controllers, removing and replacing turbidimeters, and repairing pipe as around valves, as needed. B. Perform work in accordance with Conditions of Contract. Questions received less than seven days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered. SMP Filter Valve Replacement Engineer's opinion of probable construction cost range: $1,500,000-$2,000,000 (base bid). Owner anticipates that the Project's total bid price will range from $2,000,000 to $2,500,000. No bid may be considered unless accompanied by the required bid guarantee of 5% of the total bid amount, which amount shall be forfeited if the bidder is awarded the Contract and fails to enter into a Contract with the Owner. Successful bidder will be required to provide payment and performance bonds in an amount of at least 100% of awarded contract price. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. Interpretations or clarifications considered necessary by Engineer in response to such questions will be issued by Addenda delivered to all registered plan holders.
