Site work for a water / sewer project in Troy, New Hampshire. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The project is located on NH 124, at Perkins Pond, centered on the Troy-Jaffrey Town Line. Project limits extend from approximately 800' west of the Town Line to 550' east of the Town Line (at the edge of Monadnock St.) The project will be constructed in two Phases, with Phase 1 being clearing and grubbing, muck excavation, and initial embankment widening in the 2025 construction season and Phase 2 being the remainder of the work in the 2026 construction season. Closure of NH 124 will be allowed for major construction operations in Phase 2. Limits of work on NH 124 are from Sta 200+70 to Sta 214+25. County: Cheshire Scope of Work : Replacement of a crossing of 3 cmp pipes under Route 124 at Perkins Pond. Proposal Guarantee: 5% of bid amount This Project Will Replace Three Corrugated Metal Pipes (Cmps)(48, 42, and 36 X 48) That Convey Flow Under Nh 124, at Perkins Pond, Centered on the Troy-jaffrey Town Line, and Will Reconstruct Approximately 1,275 Lf of Roadway Question Deadline 05/22/2025 - Bidders Should Act Promptly and Submit All Questions Pertaining to the Project in Writing to Kirk Mudgett at Kirk.O.Mudgett@dot.nh.gov at Least Five (5) Business Days Before the Hour and Date Set for the Bid Opening. No Phone Calls or Faxes Will Be Accepted. Project completion date is 10/16/2026 All individuals, firms, partnerships or corporations intending to bid, before obtaining plans and specifications, must file with the Department of Transportation on forms prepared for that purpose at least ten (10) days prior to opening of bids, a statement showing their qualifications. No valid bidding proposal will be issued to a prospective bidder who is not qualified. If contract price is $35,000 or more, the successful bidder will be required to furnish electronically, at the time of approval, a contract bond in the amount of one hundred (100) percent of their bid.
