Request for Proposal Overview: This Request for Proposal(RFP) documents JeffersonDavis County School District(-JDCSD) requirements for Custodial Services ManagementCompanies (CSMCs), and solicits one proposal for the district's schools and technologyoffice. This RFP is intended to allowJDCSD a basis for evaluatingand selecting the proposal bestsuited to the District's needs,pursuant to establishing a contractual relationship with an experienced and qualified CSMCto provide services in an efficient and cost-effective mannerwhile maintaining a high qualityof service, safety, and reliability. Any vendor's solution tothis RFP must meet or exceedJDCSD requirements. All costsfor proposal preparation are theresponsibility of the vendor. JDCSD Authorities and Options o The acceptance of a proposal does not obligate JDCSD topurchase custodial servicesfrom any supplier who submitsa proposal. o Serving the best interest of thedistrict, JDCSD reserves theright to reject any or all proposals and to not make a decision. o JDCSD reserves the right tochoose any proposal, even ifthe bid is not the lowest. o After receipt of the proposal,and prior to signing the contract, Jefferson Davis CountySchool District reserves theright to modify the services to bereceived by adding or deletingservices. July 22, 2024 Jefferson Davis County SchoolBoard of Education reviews recommendation for CSMC. Representatives may be requestedto attend. July 24, 2024 Announcement of selectedCSMC Evaluation Criteria listed in the table belowwill be considered by the Evaluation Committee in evaluating proposals. This will includeinformation provided within theproposal, during specific presentations and/or negotiations,and by client and industry references. 1. Term: The contract term willbegin August 1, 2024 and runthrough June 30, 2025. 2. Extensions: Three additional1-year extensions are part ofthe contract. These extensionsare as follows: a. 1st extension - July 1, 2025through June 30, 2026 b. 2nd extension - July 1, 2026through June 30, 2027 c. 3rd extension - July 1, 2027through June 30, 2028 3.
