Farragut Improvements, Farragut State Park, Athol, Idaho. A description of the work of this project can be summarized to include the repairs to multiple facilities and adding new services including dock replacement and repairs, breakwater repairs, road resurfacing and repairs, shower house replacement, and day use area construction. All Contractors must have a Public Works Contractors License and a Design Professional who holds an Idaho Architectural and/or Engineering License at the time of submittal to this RFQ. Project Budget: $ 2,125,000 DESCRIPTION OF PROJECT The State of Idaho Department of Parks and Recreation was appropriated $90 million to start addressing the state parks deferred maintenance needs. This funding is distributed across all the parks statewide to correct critical maintenance deficiencies involving mechanical, electrical, plumbing, exterior envelope, interior systems and finishes, water, sewer, site, and civil work. Farragut State Park: The scope of this project is to perform repairs to multiple facilities and add new services within the park. Buttonhook Bay repairs include replacing the wooden docks, repairing the service road to the dock and restroom, restroom repairs, and host site. Eagle Boat Launch Area repairs include road improvements, paving and breakwater repairs. A new shower house will be constructed to replace the existing at Snowberry campground. A new day-use area will be constructed near the Friendship Poles to include multiple sites with parking and a vault toilet. The design-build team will be expected to work with the project manager and the park manager to refine the scope of work. The contract may be amended to add or remove projects.
