Demolition, site work, renovation and addition to a mixed-use development in Asheville, North Carolina. Completed plans call for the addition of a playground / park / athletic field; for the demolition of a playground / park / athletic field; for the renovation of a playground / park / athletic field; for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; and water / sewer project.

The project will consist of a renovation and addition to the existing +/-4,000 seat ballpark. Project scope will include a variety of renovated or new player facilities, a new natural grass field and upgraded sports lighting. The project will feature many new or renovated fan amenities including new seating areas, new comfort facilities, a new team store and new LED scoreboard. Modifications to the vehicular drop-off area, entry plaza, site drainage systems, underground utilities and landscaping in and around the additions will be part of the scope. Blum Construction and WC Construction have been selected, in a Joint Venture, as the Construction Manager @ Risk by the City of Asheville and is seeking to pre-qualify construction trade contractors to submit bids for furnishing labor, materials, equipment and tools for the Lewis McCormick Field in Asheville, NC.
