Renovation of a mixed-use development in Salado, Texas. Completed plans call for the renovation of a stadium; and educational facility.
The firm selected will provide AV Equipment and installation for the Salado High School and Salado ISD Stadium projects. These projects are located on Williams Road in Salado, Texas. The project is expected to commence construction on or about September 1st, 2024. Substantial completion is expected on August 1st, 2026. The project will include the construction of a large video board at the stadium to include 40-second clocks, camera equipment, AV equipment, a large video board for the competition gym, a smaller scoreboard for the auxiliary gym, software to control the boards, and training on how to utilize the system installed. Vendors are encouraged to use their experience to suggest the equipment and features that Salado ISD will want in a new 5000-seat stadium and a 1500-seat competition gym. The auxiliary gym should be a modest and economical solution. All questions regarding clarification or interpretation of the RFP will be submitted in writing by the Proposer and must be received by 2:00 P.M. on July 12th, 2024. The District will respond to questions as appropriate to all proposers who have received an RFP directly from the district. All such addenda issued by the District prior to the time that proposals are received shall be considered part of the RFP. Only those inquiries the District replies to by addenda shall be binding. Oral and other interpretations or clarifications shall be without legal effect. By submitting a proposal, each proposer agrees to waive any claim it has or may have against the Salado ISD, its trustees, agents and employees, and any reference sources, arising out of or in connection with the administration, evaluation, or recommendation of any proposal; waiver of any requirements under the proposal documents; acceptance or rejection of any proposal; and award of the proposal. The Salado ISD shall have no contractual obligation to any proposer, nor will any proposer have any property interest or other right in the proposal or contract being proposed unless and until the contract is unconditionally executed and delivered by all parties, and all conditions to be fulfilled by the proposer have been fulfilled by the proposer. The District reserves the right to waive any formality and to reject any or all proposals.
