Site work for a bridge / tunnel in Sechelt, British Columbia. Conceptual plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel.

Replace the existing Vinebrook Bridge, located on the Suncoaster Trail, within Electoral Area A (Egmont/Pender Harbour). TIMELINE: Request for Proposals is underway from qualified professionals for the provision of design, engineering, and construction administration services for the project. The proponent will be responsible for working with the Regional District to provide detailed design, a set of engineered design drawings (site plan, demolition, architectural, structural), specifications, cost estimates and permits for the replacement Bridge. The engineering services and design need to be completed by October 30, 2024, although we would prefer it completed by September 30, 2024, and the construction (subject to funding) would be tentatively completed in the late spring / summer of 2025. Further update in late summer 2024, pending selection of a preferred proponent. *Question Deadline 07/29/2024 All enquiries related to this Request for Proposal, including any requests for information and clarification, are to be submitted by and directed, in writing, to purchasing@scrd.ca, who will respond if time permits with a Q&A on electronically by August 2, 2024.
