Pulverize and Regrade generally including the following: 1. the west 530 feet of Pioneer Road 270 If 2. sawcut asphalt pavement full depth (road and driveways) 160 sy 3. remove asphalt pavement (driveways) 4. unclassified excavation (2) wide shoulders) 1,400 sy 5. pulverize full depth, level, grade, compact and prepare base 6. aggregate base shoulders 701 SCHEDULES: The Work will be coordinated with adjoining road improvements. The road improvements will be completed by October 30. LEGAL PROVISIONS. The Contract letting shall be subject to Wisconsin Statutes Sections 61.55, 62.15 (public works construction), 66.0901 (public works contracts and bids), 66.0903 (prevailing wage rates), 6629 and 66.293, and 779.14 (performance bonds/surety) and 102 (workers compensation). WAGE RATES. CONTRACTOR shall be required to pay not less than wages and other compensation as required by State of Wisconsin and Federal Law. There is otherwise not a prevailing wage rate determination. AWARD of CONTRACT. The contract will be awarded by the Town BID SECURITY, Bid Security in the amount of not less than 5% of the Bid shall accompany each Bid in accordance with the instructions to Bidders. The security shall serve as a guarantee, that if the bid is accepted, the BIDOER will execute and fie the required Contract Documents CONTRACT SECURITY/FINANCIAL SURETY, The BIDDER to whom a Contract is awarded shall furnish a Performance Bond and a Payment Bond each in an amount equal to the Contract Price. BID REJECTION ACCEPTANCE. OWNER reserves the right to reject any and all Bids, waive informalities in bidding, or to accept the Bid or Bids, which best serves the interests of the OWNER. BID WITHDRAWAL. No Bid shall be withdrawn for a period of 90 days after the scheduled opening of the bids without the consent of OWNER
