PROJECT: Laguna Campground - Asphalt Gates Slurry (GAOA) Cleveland National Forest, CA. Total Small Business Set-Aside IAW FAR 36.204 Disclosure of Magnitude of the Construction Project - between $100,000 and $250,000 Important Notes: Refer to complete solicitation continuation pages for bid schedule, scope, specifications, exhibits, and all other information and terms. A FS organized pre-proposal site visit will be not held. In no event shall failure to inspect the site constitute grounds for a claim after contract award. All Requests for Information (RFI's) shall be submitted to the Contract Specialist via email to Tanya.Torresusda.gov, on the attached RFI form, no later than 2 August 2024, 1000 AM hours PDT. SCOPE OF CONTRACT The purpose of this contract is to replace damaged pavement at Laguna Campground, Descanso Ranger District (DRD), in San Diego County on the Cleveland National Forest. This contract provides for the equipment, labor, materials, services and permits necessary to perform work ordered by the Government, in compliance with its terms, specifications, drawings, and provisions, to remove damaged asphalt and replace with HMA Caltrans 1/2 in. max. Type A, PG 64-10, and to install associated in-kind pavement marking. Incidental work includes subgrade preparation with aggregate base, pavement markings, cleanup and disposal of construction waste and debris. Options: a. Apply slurry seal over pavement surface full width for Meadow trailer loop including connecting section. b. Install steel gates at different location within Laguna Campground. Related work not listed under Pay Items are incidental including gate removal, unsuitable base material removal for aggregate base replacement, preparation and cleanup. Schedule Line item 301.03a includes incidental installation of approximately 2' x 12' geo-textile separation layer and 4" height geo-cell stabilized base (ref.
