Citrus County, Florida (County) invites interested parties to submit a Bid for the Aids to Navigation- Installation and Repair Services within the Citrus County Waterways. The work covered by these specifications consists of furnishing all labor and equipment, hardware, wood and pipe pilings, reflective tape, piling caps, chains, shackles and anchors necessary to maintain, repair, replace, install, or remove any navigational aid, new or existing, in and on the waterways in Citrus County. New and replacement signs or buoys will be furnished by the County. Protest Bond. Each formal protest must be accompanied by a protest bond in the form of a certified check, cashier's check, or money order made payable to Citrus County, Florida in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the protester's Bid submitted to the County. If the protester prevails, the bond shall be returned to the protester. However, if after completion of the Solicitation Protest Procedures the County denies the protest, the bond shall be forfeited to County.
