Site work and renovation of a transportation facility in Kelowna, British Columbia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a transportation facility; and for site work for a transportation facility.
This Project is a major infrastructure initiative to design and construct upgrades that optimize operational efficiencies at the Kelowna Transit Centre located at 1494 Hardy Street in Kelowna, British Columbia ("Hardy facility"). This Project will increase the capabilities of the facility so that the site can effectively support a mixed diesel and battery electric bus (BEB) by installing Direct Current (DC) fast chargers and associated electrical infrastructure. The Project also enlarges maintenance administration and parts storage areas, invests in systems that support health, safety and security, replaces critical end-of-life equipment and expands bus parking.
