The project sites are located as follows: C-59(846)on 839th Road between 538th Avenue and 539th Avenue; C-59(903) on539th Avenue between 842nd Road and 843rd Road; C-59(954) on 550thAvenue between 836th Road and838th Road; C-59(960) on Victory Road between 844th Road and 845rdRoad; C-59(992) on 844th Road between 553rd Avenue and 554thAvenue; C-59(994) on 838th Road between 556th Avenue and 557thAvenue; C-59(996) on 845th Road between 556th Avenue and 557thAvenue; C-59(997) on 536th Avenue between 843rd Road and 845th Road; South 45th Street OL on S 45th Street between 840th Road and 841st Road all in Madison County, Nebraska. The projects are referred to as '' Madison County 2024 Asphalt" and shall include all labor, materials, transportation and equipment required for the construction of: C-59(846)approximately 1.0 miles of 4" asphaltic concrete overlay, type "SPR";C-59(903) approximately 1.0 miles of3" asphaltic concrete overlay, type"SPR"; C-59(954) approximately 2miles of 3" asphaltic concrete overlay, type "SPR"; C-59(960) approximately0.1 miles of 2" asphaltic concrete overlay, type "SPR" and approximately0.3 miles of 4" asphaltic concrete overlay, type "SPR"; C-59(992)approximately 1.0 miles of 3" asphaltic concrete overlay, type "SPR";C-59(994) approximately 1.0 miles of4" asphaltic concrete overlay, type ''SPR; C-59(996) approximately 0.4miles of 4" asphaltic concrete overlay, type "SPR", C-59(997) approximately1.4 miles of 4" asphaltic concrete overlay, type "SPR" and S 45th Street OL approximately 0.3 miles of 3"asphaltic concrete, type "SPR"; all projects with cold milling, and other related incidental work. Along with its Bid Proposal, each bidder shall submit an unconditional Bid Bond or Certified Check made payable to the Madison County Treasurer, Madison County, Nebraska, in an amount equal to five (5) percent of the total Bid Proposal. Also, each bidder is to provide a Start of Construction date and End of Construction date for each project with its Bid Proposal. The desired completion date for all sites is June15, 2025. The Contractor will be allowed twenty (20) calendar days forC-59(846), twenty-five (25) calendar days for C-59(903), forty (40) calendar days for C-59(954), ten (10) calendar days for C-59(960), twenty-five (25)calendar days for C-59(992), twenty(20) calendar days for C-59(994),fifteen (15) calendar days forC-59(996), twenty-five (25) calendar days for C-59(997) and fifteen (15)calendar days for South 45th Street OL The required completion date for each site will be the earlier of the date indicated in the bid proposal or the actual start date plus the allotted calendar days for that site. Additional days due to weather may be granted at the discretion of the Engineer. Within ten (10) days following the award of the Contract, the successful bidder shall furnish a surety bond or bonds in an amount equal to or greater than the full amount of the contract. The surety and form of the bonds are subject to the acceptance by the Madison County Board of Commissioners.
