Scope of Work: Major components of Project Work consist of Demolition, excavation, security fencing, site drainage, boiler removal, abatement, restroom modifications, electrical raceway, wiring and related work. DOJ Custodian of Record (COR) Requirement: As a condition of Contract award, at the time of Contract award Contractor is required to furnish to State evidence that the Contractor's organization has a Department of Justice (DOJ)-confirmed Custodian of Records (COR) for background checks. Alternatively, at the time of award the Contractor may furnish to State evidence or proof of mailing (via USPS Registered Mail or tracking information) that Contractor submitted an application for processing to DOJ to obtain a COR in accordance with DOJ requirements. For bidders without a DOJ-Confirmed Custodian of Record at the time of Contract award but who provide evidence of a submitted application at the time of Contract award, an allowance of 45 calendar days from NTP shall be included in the baseline schedule for processing of the Contractor's Custodian of Record and completion of onsite construction staff background checks (FBI and/or DOJ). State shall not be responsible for any Contractor costs caused by any delays in establishing a Custodian of Record. Certificate of Reported Compliance (CRC) Fleet Vehicles: As a condition of Contract award, prior to Contract execution, Contractor shall submit copies of the valid CRCs for any fleet retained by the Contractor or any listed Subcontractor, for which any vehicles subject to the California Air Resources Board In-Use Off-Road Diesel Fueled Fleet Regulations, Section 2449(i), Title 12, California Code of Regulations, are used in the completion of the work included in the Contract. Bidders are advised to commence the required DVBE procedures immediately upon receipt of drawings and project manual. States estimated cost: $3,258,700.00. The term of this project is 365 calendar days. Bonds: Successful bidder shall furnish payment and performance bonds, each in the amount of 100 percent of the Contract price.
