Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Ypsilanti, Michigan. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; water / sewer project; and bridge / tunnel.

The scope of this project is for road construction including pavement removal, earth work, HMA paving, concrete curb and gutter, culvert replacement, drainage improvements, slope restoration, permanent pavement markings, and permanent signing in Augusta Township & Ypsilanti Township, Washtenaw County, Michigan. Prospective bidders shall conform to the Michigan Department of Transportation prequalification requirements. All subcontractors shall be required to meet the prequalification class of the particular items that they will be working on as part of this project. An electronic bidder's bond in the sum of not less than five (5%) of the base bid price is required by the instructions to bidders. In lieu of an electronic bond, a paper bond is acceptable, but must be received by the WCRC prior to the electronic bid opening. The WCRC, in accordance with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, 78 Stat. 252, 42 USC 2000d to 200d-4 and Title 49, Code of Federal Regulations, Department of Federally assisted programs of the Department of Transportation issued pursuant to such Act, hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively insure that in any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, minority business enterprises will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of gender, disability, race, color, or national origin in consideration for an award. The Board reserves the right to reject any or all bids or any part of the same; to waive irregularities and/or informalities and to make the award in part or entirety as may appear to be in the best interest of the County of Washtenaw.
