Contractor to provide various earthworks projects on properties owned by the Port of Olympia including, but not limited to, the Olympia Airport, the marine terminal, Swantown Marina and Boatworks, and industrial or commercial properties in Tumwater or on the Port peninsula. The Port will issue an individual Work Order for each separate project or piece of work. Project Budget: $ 300,000 Question Deadline 07/19/2024 at 5:00 PM PT Location : online portal. Desired Start Date: August 19, 2024 Initial Term Completion Date: August 18, 2026 Upon Mutually Agreed Amendment August 18, 2027 The Contractor will provide and furnish all labor, equipment and materials as may be required to complete the work, installed, tested, and ready to use, as assigned in the Miscellaneous Earthwork work orders. This contract involves various earthworks projects on properties owned by the Port of Olympia including, but not limited to, the Olympia Airport, the marine terminal, Swantown Marina and Boatworks, and industrial or commercial properties in Tumwater or on the Port peninsula. The Port will issue an individual Work Order for each separate project or piece of work. The Contractor and the Port's Contract Manager will estimate the quantities of the bid items and will sign the Work Order as acknowledgement of the scope, schedule and assignment of work. Payment will be made utilizing the schedule of unit prices as bid. The contract shall expire three years following contract award, or when the sum of $300,000 including Washington State Sales Tax has been expended under the contract, whichever occurs first. If, at the end of the contract term, available contract funds remain, the contract term may be extended for one additional year upon mutual acceptance. The unit prices as bid shall remain the same. A pre-bid conference will not be held. Each bid must be accompanied by a Certified Check or Bid Bond in an amount equal to $15,000, which is 5% of the $300,000. Disadvantaged, Minority, and Women's Business Enterprises are encouraged to respond. Port of Olympia does not discriminate on the grounds of race, color, religion, national origin, sex, age or handicap in consideration for a contract award. The Port of Olympia reserves the right to reject any and all bids, waive technicalities or irregularities and to accept any bid if such action is believed to be in the best interest of the Port.
