Pursuant to the Prince William County (hereinafter "County") Procurement Regulations, the County requests sealed written proposals from qualified Consultants to provide on-call planning services for the Planning Office. The objective of the Request for Proposals (RFP) is to solicit proposals to from a qualified pool of Contractors for the delivery of timely and efficient planning services to the County on an as-needed basis. The County intends to establish a competitive pool of consultants for specific areas of expertise. The County anticipates multiple awards and will award up to three (3) consultants per area of expertise. Task Orders will be issued to the Consultants on a rotation basis through the County's A/E Rotation Management System. The Chief Procurement Officer or designee may grant a waiver for selecting a firm out of the rotation order, provided written documentation supporting and detailing the basis for waiver is provided. The Contract Administrator or a designated representative shall issue written Task Orders for specific projects and/or tasks; funding permitting. A Task Order will include the following items: Task Request, Task Proposal, and Purchase Order. The total fee for each Task Order under the terms of the Contract are shall not exceed contract term and single project limits specified in The Virginia Public Procurement Act (VPPA) state code 2.2-4303.2. The County reserves the right to obtain any services identified hereunder separately through individual solicitations if it determines this is in the County's best interest. The base contract period shall be for one year from Date of Award. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
