The Project Consists, in General, Replacement of Existing Meters With Approximately 142 Electronic Meters and All Appurtenances Necessary to Complete the Work. All Work Shall Be Completed Within 90 Consecutive Calendar Days Following Issuance of the Notice to Proceed. The Information for Bidders, Form of Bid, Form of Contract, Plans, Specifications, and Form of Bid Bond, Performance and Payment Bond, and Other Contract Documents May Be Examined at the Clerk S Office, Town of Black. Method of Award Will Be Based on Lowest, Responsive, and Responsible Bidder. The Owner Reserves the Right to Waive Any Informalities or to Reject Any or All Bids. Each Bidder Must Deposit With His Bid, Security in the Amount, Form and Subject to the Conditions Provided in the Information for Bidders. Performance and Payment Bond(S) Each in the Amount of 100% of the Contract Price; With a Corporate Surety Approved by the Owner, Will Be Required From the Contractor. Each Bidder Must Be Licensed as a Contractor in the State of Alabama in Accordance With the Provisions Set Forth in Chapter 8 of Title 34 of the Code of Alabama and Must Be Certified for the Type of Work for Which a Proposal is Submitted. The Bidders Current State of Alabama License Number Must Appear on the Outside of the Sealed Envelope Containing His/her Bid. Attention of Bidders is Particularly Called to the Requirements as to Conditions of Employment to Be Observed and Minimum Wage Rates to Be Paid Under the Contract, Section 3, Segregated Facility, Section 109, and E.o. 11246. No Bidder May Withdraw His Bid Within 60 Days After the Actual Date of the Opening Thereof.
