Reference number: 20007815 The Kitcisakik Anicinapek Council, owner, is requesting bids for the installation of electrical entrances and related work, for all community buildings located in Kitcisakik, Quebec (near KM 426, route 117). The aim of the project is to prepare the buildings for supply from Hydro-Québec's new distribution network, which will be deployed in the village in the coming months. Details of the work can be found in the attached plans and specifications. The scope of work, depending on the building, ranges from the simple installation of a 240-volt meter socket in the existing distribution system, to the installation of a complete new 600-volt electrical input distribution system and conversion of the building's existing 240-volt distribution system, including the construction of electrical rooms required for the installation of the new equipment. The project will be divided into two main phases. The first phase will involve building extensions and the installation of new equipment, making it possible for Hydro-Québec to supply power to the buildings. The second phase will involve coordination with Hydro-Québec of all connections and the conversion of certain equipment, which can only be carried out at the time of H.Q. connection (e.g. replacing a 120/240 1ph panel with a 120/208 3ph panel). Work can begin as soon as the contractor is awarded the contract in 2024. The first phase should be completed by the end of 2025. The second phase can then be carried out once the Hydro-Québec network has been installed, i.e. in early 2026 and the following months. The timing of the second phase will depend on Hydro-Québec's progress with the project.
