The City of Lubbock, TX, is seeking competitive, sealed, bids for 2024 North Overton Streets Rebuild in Concrete. Questions Due Date: Jul 26th 2024, 4:00 PM CDT Bidders are required, whether or not a payment or performance bond is required, to submit a cashier's or certified check issued by a bank satisfactory to the City of Lubbock, or a proposal bond from a reliable surety company, payable without recourse to the order of the City of Lubbock in an amount not less than 5% of the total amount of the proposal submitted as a guarantee The successful bidder will be required to furnish a performance bond in in the amount of 100% of the total contract price in the event that said contract price exceeds $100,000 and the successful bidder will be required to furnish a payment bond in accordance The construction covered by the contract documents shall be substantially completed within 65 Consecutive Calendar Days from the date specified in the Notice to Proceed issued by the City of Lubbock to the successful bidder The City of Lubbock reserves the right to reject any or all bids, reject any particular item on a bid, and to waive immaterial formalities and to accept the offer most advantageous to the City of Lubbock in its sole discretion.
