The work includes furnishing all labor, tools, materials, equipment, transportation and services required for striping roadways at various streets within the City limits. Work includes traffic control; striping layout; furnishing and applying traffic paint for striping, traffic lanes and bike lanes; and all appurtenant work to complete the project. The Owner also reserves the right to extend the contract for multiple years for additional maintenance work based upon the contract documents. Question Deadline 07/29/2024 All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted to Engineer in writing. Questions received less than two days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered. The project shall be governed by the contract documents and all provisions of the Manual of Standard Specifications and Manual of Standard Plans 2017 Edition published by the Utah Chapter of the American Public Works Association (APWA). Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. The contract will be awarded, if it is to be awarded based on this solicitation, to the responsive, responsible bidder (please refer specifically to Article 3 in Section 1.2). The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids. Document Notes: Printed copies of the Bidding Documents may be obtained from the Issuing Office, by making a request for such with the contact person listed above 24 hours in advance of the desired pick-up time, to be during normal business hours, upon payment of a non-refundable fee of $100 for each set. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for full or partial sets of Bidding Documents, including Addenda if any, obtained from sources other than the Issuing Office.
