Site work and new construction of a pre-engineered storage facility in West Babylon, New York. Completed plans call for the construction of a pre-engineered storage facility; and for site work for a pre-engineered storage facility.
The work consists ofthe following: At the Bergen Point Wastewater Treatment Plant installation of new prefabricated Storage Building including augered grout piles, structural concrete, HVAC, Fire Alarm System, Electrical and Plumbing. In addition, the existing Storage Building to receive new Steel Skin System, HVAC, Fire Alarm System and Electrical. Bids shall be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the total Base Bid, made payable to the Suffolk County Comptroller. This bid bond will be held as a guarantee that in the event the bid is accepted and contract awarded to the Bidder, the contract will be duly executed and properly secured. (Chief Engineer) at Janice.McGovern@suffolkcountyny.gov. and Robert James (Assistant Mechanical Engineer) at Robert.James@suffolkcountyny.gov. The Commissioner of Public Works reserves the right to reject any and all bids. It is intended that the work under this Contract be completed within 540 calendar days after issuance of the formal Notice to Proceed or receipt of a fully executed agreement, whichever occurs first
